Our Residential Treatment Program provides 24-hour care for children ages 5-14 with significant emotional and behavioral concerns. We integrate therapy, education, health, spiritual growth, and recreation opportunities to help children and families stabilize, establish safety, resolve conflict, develop successful coping skills, and prepare for reunification. Average length of stay is 5 months.

Our Day Treatment Program provides children, ages 5-18, a research-based K-12 educational curriculum in a highly structured therapeutic environment. By helping children learn new skills and strategies to manage their emotional health and well-being, while continuing their academic pursuits, we help prepare them to successfully re-enter the public school system. Individual and family therapy services are an integral part of our Day Treatment program. Average length of treatment is 9 months.

Stepping Stones is a short term adolescent residential program for male and female youth ages 11-18 who need a temporary place to reside due to family conflict, legal problems, mental health concerns or other issues.  The program provides assessment, case management, mental health treatment, health care, educational services, and life skills training. Stepping Stones accepts respite and residential admissions 24-hours a day. Average length of stay is 2 months.

Our Community Based Family Services address child protection, emotional and behavioral challenges, domestic violence, parenting, child trauma, and specific mental health concerns in the family’s own home, school and community. This allows us to promote growth and change in the context of the client’s most relevant environments. An individualized plan including therapy and/or support services is developed to meet each family’s needs. Our CBFS team also offers bilingual, culturally-relevant services to Spanish-speaking clients. Average length of treatment is 5 months.

Tennyson Center for Children’s Education Program offers a continuum of education approaches to meet the behavioral and academic needs of students for children who are having difficulty achieving success in the public school setting.

Home Environment Alternative to Residential Care (HEART) is an intensive in-home program that serves the entire family and focuses on family preservation, reunification and preventing out-of-home placements. The treatment team includes a therapist and family support specialist(s) who work collaboratively with the family to develop a treatment plan including establishing safety, therapy, day-to-day support, behavioral modeling, structuring, and skill development.

Outpatient Therapy services are available for individuals and families at our Denver campus. These services can be used as an assessment tool, allowing our licensed clinicians to help identify clients’ needs and facilitate service planning. Or, clients may use sessions as support and aftercare during times of crisis or transition.
