The Children’s Advocacy Council brings together the passion and philanthropic power of child advocates, nonprofit professionals, government employees, and business and community leaders to prioritize the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. As members and advocates, the
Children’s Advocacy Council helps shape public opinion and makes a direct impact on the safety and well-being of Colorado’s most vulnerable children.
Pledge your time and talent or make an annual financial investment in creating hope for all of Colorado’s most vulnerable children as members and inspirational leaders. Children’s Advocacy Council members make a one-year minimum commitment to donate $108 and invest in creating hope.
As a 2012 member of Children’s Advocacy Council, you’ll receive:
•Advocacy skills training to become an ambassador for Tennyson Center for Children and a knowledgeable advocate for all of Colorado’s abused and neglected children;
•Monthly electronic advocacy updates about public policy;
•Access to the exclusive Children’s Advocacy Council online discussion group;
•Recognition in advocacy communications and TCC website;
•Membership in the exclusive Children’s Advocacy Council LinkedIn networking group;
•Opportunities to attend advocacy events, in addition to the monthly Children’s Advocacy meetings, including the annual State of Our Children breakfast, quarterly networking opportunities and an exclusive annual legislative briefing.
Become an inspiration leader on the Children’s Advocacy Council
Children’s Advocacy Council Inspiration Leaders are business and philanthropic leaders who demonstrate a commitment to our cause by making a one-year minimum commitment to donate $500 or more and inspire their employees or coworkers to become advocates and volunteer at TCC. In addition to all the ambassador and membership benefits, CAC Inspiration Leaders receive:
•Special recognition at Children’s Advocacy Council events and in printed publications produced by the TCC Office of Strategic Initiatives.
•Opportunities to receive in-depth information about issues monitored by TCC Office of Strategic Initiatives, including bi-weekly electronic briefings and child welfare bill tracker from the TCC Office of Strategic Initiatives.
