Hard to believe it, but it's time to start collecting new school supplies for the upcoming academic year at Tennyson Center for Children. And we need your help to make this giving campaign a success. There are two ways you can help.

This is NOT your mother's school supply drive. One of the things that makes Stuff-the-Bus so unique is that we're asking for things which one might not normally associate with the more traditional school supply drive. You see, we have plenty of pencils, notebooks, rulers, and crayons. What we need are the things most schools get with taxpayer dollars---things which will make a REAL difference in the lives of the kids we serve, such as computer programs, learning software programs, and academic assistance programs. These items are vital to the success and treatment of the children we serve. Since Tennyson Center is NOT funded the way most other schools are, we have to rely on the generosity and philanthropy of individuals and corporations so that our students will have the best education possible.

The first way to help is to purchase items from our Stuff-the-Bus Needs list. This year, we've made it much simpler for our donors to help purchase items via this method. You can go directly to the designated website which will appear on the shopping list and purchase the items from that site. The items will be shipped directly to Tennyson Center or you can have them shipped to your residence or place of business and bring them down to Tennyson Center. Needs lists ARE NOW AVAILABLE, so please call Dave at 720-855-3326 to have a list sent to you.

The second way to help is to make a cash donation so that your generosity can help our kids in the greatest area of need. Cash contributions are the lifeblood of our existence and we rely on our good-hearted supporters to provide more than $3 million each year through gifts and contributions! Please do your part and help us help the children we serve.

Whichever way you choose, you'll be helping the children we serve get the quality education and healing treatment they deserve.
