Have you ever heard of the POWER OF ONE? That’s the theory which says that just one person has the power to make a significant difference in people’s lives. Actual scientific studies have proven that theory to be true. One person CAN change the lives of so many children.
By joining our Cottage Circle sponsorship program, you can make a greater impact on the lives of abused and neglected children without a great impact on your monthly budget. And all it takes is less than $1 per day---81 cents, as a matter of fact. You can’t get a cup of coffee for 81 cents. Even the value burger at your favorite fast food restaurant costs more than 81 cents. But for as little as 81 cents a day, you WILL change children’s lives. And you will help us meet our goals so that we can continue to serve so many children who desperately need our programs.
As a monthly donor, you are essentially “adopting” hundreds of children who will live on our campus and receive the treatment they need. Throughout 2009, we will serve some of Colorado’s most neglected and abused children, over 600 to be exact. As a Cottage Sponsor, you’ll be supporting each and every one of those children as we guide them on the path to healing.
When you join our Cottage Circle program, your commitment of care comes in the form of a recurring gift, either monthly or quarterly. It’s the kind of support that offers greater stability to our base of funding, which is so vital to the successful treatment of the children we serve.
Membership in the Cottage Circle program allows you to essentially become part of a cottage “family” where your recurring gift will help each child residing in that particular cottage in so many different ways. Participation in this program allows the support of just ONE person to go so much further by helping an entire residential cottage. This program truly demonstrates the POWER OF ONE.
You will play a vital role in the progress and development of so many children. In addition to serving the children currently residing in a cottage, your support will help other children who will require our services in the future. You see, as one child graduates from our residential treatment program, support for the next child arriving at one of our five residential cottages will already be in place.
As a member, you will receive periodic updates with our “Cottage Connection” newsletter on the children you’ll be supporting. Here’s just a few of the things your recurring gift will provide:
- 24-hour supervision, therapy and guidance from specially trained professionals
- Specialized education for all children in that cottage
- New, clean clothes and nutritious, healthy meals
- Linens, toiletries, blankets and other basic essentials
- Recreational items such as video players, televisions and books
- Field trips and outings to educational exhibits, sporting events and fun places many of these children have never been to before
- And so much more!
Remember, it's less than a dollar a day. It's loose change. And that's such a small price to pay for the incredible difference you’ll be making in the lives of these children. As a valued member of this program you will have several giving options: from payment frequency (monthly, quarterly or annually) to how your payment is made (electronic fund transfer, credit card or coupon payments by check).
By exercising the POWER OF ONE, you are helping to ensure that the children in our residential treatment program will have the funding necessary to provide them with a successful journey on their road to recovery.
