Dress-a-Child at Tennyson Center
MAKE CASH DONATION TO SUPPORT DRESS-A-CHILD
Many children come to Tennyson Center for Children wearing clothes that are torn, tattered and one or two sizes too small. To ensure that every child has clothes that fit, we need to make sure our clothing shelves are stocked at all times with clothing of all sizes. You can support the Dress-a-Child program by making a cash donation or by shopping from our current list of clothing needs. Donors who prefer to purchase clothing for our children rather than make a cash contribution to help fund this program can shop from the list and then deliver those clothes directly to Tennyson Center. Average cost for one complete outfit is $175 (including shoes). IMPORTANT: Please keep in mind that we can no longer accept used clothing, regardless of its condition. All items donated must be new with store tags still attached. DOWNLOAD THE CURRENT LIST OF CLOTHING NEEDS FROM WHICH TO SHOP. WE ALSO VERY MUCH NEED NEW, TWIN-SIZED COMFORTERS FOR THE CHILDREN'S BEDS.
ReNew Boutique: the New Clothing "Store" at Tennyson Center
Tennyson Center is proud to announce the grand opening of ReNew Boutique, the new on-campus clothing "store" for the kids in our care. This exciting new venue gives the children a chance to learn how to shop for their own clothes and to enjoy picking out just the right outfit to suit their own personalities. Your support of the Dress-a-Child program keeps the shelves and racks stocked with clothing from which the kids can select.
