Youth Treatment Counselor-School Based
Direct care staff to work Monday-Friday, 7:00-3:00. Begins the shift in the boys unit assisting with the morning wake up routine, then the remainder of the day in an elementary classroom. Assists the teacher with educational instruction and provides behavior management for students. Seeking an energetic candidate with previous experience working with at risk students preferably in a residential and/or day treatment or classroom setting. Must be able to provide a balance of limit setting and nurturance, demonstrating an understanding of the emotional needs of children and ability to remain patient and professional during crisis. Works with students with severe behavioral challenges in a year round position including holidays and some school breaks. Strong team environment providing quality services with a focus on trauma informed care with a strengths based approach. This is a BA level, direct care position (not clinical). Candidates must have a BA degree in a Human Service related field or equivalent experience with children. All candidates must be over 21 years old and have a valid Colorado Driver's license.

Special Education teacher responsible for the development and implementation of Language Arts curriculum for Middle/High School students (12) with behavioral and mental health challenges. Provides educational and treatment programming and provides supervision to two classroom assistants. Must have a valid Colorado teaching certificate with a Special Education Generalist endorsement as well as highly qualified status for teaching LA/English. Previous related experience in a residential and/or day treatment program with strong classroom management skills highly preferred. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license. Special Education Teacher-Life Skills Program
Provides classroom instruction and therapeutic services to students with dual diagnosis and behavioral challenges. Implements IEP’s and treatment plans, teaches life skills and meets the individual needs of student’s social and emotional needs within a self-contained classroom. Provides supervision to two classroom assistants and maintains a safe and therapeutic learning environment. Must have a valid Colorado teaching certificate with a special education generalist or severe needs cognitive endorsement with previous experience teaching within a life skills program. Awake overnight position responsible for the direct supervision and implementation of treatment plans for children with multiple emotional/behavioral problems in a structured environment. Provides behavior management, structure and teaching basic daily living skills. Will provide a therapeutic balance of nurturance and limit setting demonstrating an understanding of the emotional needs of the children. Must be 21. BA in a Human Service related field required (or equivalent experience). All candidates must have or qualify to obtain a Colorado Driver’s License.

Youth Treatment Counselor
Full-time position responsible for implementing treatment and educational plans for children with multiple emotional/behavioral problems in a structured environment. Actively participate in achieving the Agency’s mission by supporting the therapeutic milieu, group, and individual treatment programs in a multi-disciplinary team setting. Participates in the daily supervision and care of children in the cottage. Responsible for planning and implementing therapeutic groups, individual counseling, behavior management, and teaching basic daily living skills. Will provide a therapeutic balance of nurturance and limit setting demonstrating an understanding of the emotional needs of the children. Must be 21. BA in a Human Service related field required; plus one-year previous related experience. All candidates must have or qualify to obtain a Colorado Driver’s License.
