Resource Team Supervisor
Provides supervision and on the floor training to assigned Resource Team Counselors, helps maintain campus stability, provides crisis management to residential milieus, assigns staff to accompany clients to hospital visits or off ground activities, carries the on-call phone to provide communication to the duty officer regarding calls to the crisis line, police or hospitalizations, and provides direct care to the children within the residential units. Ensures debriefs are completed at the end of each shift. Works a Wednesday-Saturday schedule, includes evenings. Must have a BA degree in a Human Service Related field to apply. Must have a minimum of two years working experience with at risk children, strong behavior management skills and ability to problem solve in crisis situations. Candidates with residential experience highly preferred. Previous supervisory and/or leadership position preferred. This is not a master’s level clinical position. Classroom Support Youth Treatment Counselors
Provides support as assigned to all classrooms, Elementary, Middle and High School due to staff breaks, vacations, open positions or high acuity behaviors. Collaborates with education and treatment teams in the completion of instructional activities and behavior management, keeping with each child’s IEP and treatment plan. Works Monday-Friday 7:15-3:15, year round. Requires a BA degree in a human service related field or equivalent working experience. Must be able to set firm limits, maintain a positive therapeutic structure and work well within a team setting. Previous experience in a residential and/or school setting with EBD children preferred. Youth Treatment Counselor
Full-time position works throughout the residential campus as assigned to gain and share experience and skills with all milieus, developmental age groups (5-18) and teams. Responsible for implementing treatment and educational plans for children with multiple emotional/behavioral problems in a structured environment. Actively participate in achieving the Agency’s mission by supporting the therapeutic milieu, group, and individual treatment programs in a multi-disciplinary team setting. Participates in the daily supervision and care of children in the cottage. Responsible for planning and implementing therapeutic groups, behavior management and crisis intervention, and teaching basic daily living skills. Will provide a therapeutic balance of nurturance and limit setting demonstrating an understanding of the emotional needs of the children. Must be 21. BA in a Human Service related field required; plus one-year previous related experience.
