What You Can Do to Help

So many people think that their efforts are insignificant in the larger picture, but nothing could be further from the truth. There is so much you can do to help make a difference in the lives of children, to make them a priority in Colorado.

BRING...
...a child to vote with you. Show them that participating really matters. Get them started in the democratic process at an early age.

WRITE...
...and encourage your local media to cover kids' issues in political campaigns.

ASK...
...candidates for their positions on children's health, early care and learning, child abuse, after-school programs---and all other issues that matter to the kids in your community.

COMPARE...
...the candidates' voting records, position papers, and public statements about children.

VOLUNTEER...

The 2008 Children's Action Agenda

Tennyson Center for Children and the Every Child Matters Education Fund are proud to be partners in presenting the Children's Action Agenda, a legislative agenda prepared by a coalition of children’s organizations and advocates. We hope this agenda will provide a guiding framework for the 2008 Colorado State legislative session to benefit Colorado’s children.
