The Vivint Gives Back Project allows fans of Vivint’s Facebook page to nominate and vote for their favorite local charities in five different U.S. regions, and one region in Canada. The organization that receives the most votes overall will be awarded $250,000, while the charity in each region that receives the most votes will also get a $100,000 contribution.

 If you're on Facebook, then you are in a perfect position to help Tennyson Center for Children get national exposure AND win up to $250,000 for our programs and services and to further our mission of serving Colorado's abused, neglected and most at-risk children!  We need to make it into the top 20 by June 11.  WE ARE SO CLOSE TO BEING IN THE TOP 20, BUT WE NEED YOUR VOTE!!!

It's simple.  Here's how it works.

1. Between now and June 11, 2011, anyone with a Facebook account in North America can endorse their favorite charity (that's us!!!). To participate, just click on this link. Once you're at the page, be sure you click on the "Like Vivant on Facebook" button or, if you've already "liked" them, click on the "login" button.  Then simply scroll to the bottom and click the "endorse" button. The top 20 charities in each of the five regions that receive the most endorsements will make it to Phase II, or the voting phase.  You can endorse us once per day, so be sure and make this a daily task for the next three weeks!

2. From June 14 through August 27, 2011, the top charities will participate in Phase II. This is where your supporters can vote for your charity—once per person per day. Throughout this phase of the contest, we will announce matching periods. During these periods, participants can contribute up to $50 per person to their favorite charity still in the contest. There is a $2,500 participant donation limit per charity. Vivint will match contributions from participants dollar for dollar. Each of the 100 regional finalist charities has the potential to win $5,000, for a total of $500,000.

3. Within eight weeks of the end of the competition, winners will be announced. The charity that receives the most overall votes will receive $250,000. The top remaining vote-getting charity in each region will receive $100,000.

You can endorse Tennyson Center once per day, so be sure and do it daily!  And spread the word to all of your facebook friends and family!
